Healing Trauma: A Workshop in Nuhadra, Iraq

19 – 24 September 2015, Nuhadra, Iraq – With the support of the Institute for Global Engagement (IGE), the Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq hosted Heaing of Trauma workshop held for forty participants at the Dilshad Palace Hotel. Mr. Ashur Eskrya, President of the Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq, and Dr. Chris Seiple, President of the Institute for Global Engagement (IGE), opened the workshop and participated throughout the entire worshop from 8 am – 8 pm. The workshop covered many important sessions on psychological problems that affect people who live through war and other disasters, everyday incidents related to psychological problems and suffering that occurred to displaced people from areas like Mosul and the Nineveh Plain post ISIS invasion.
