David William Lazar RIP

It is with shock and profound sadness that the Assyrian Aid Society of America has learned of David William Lazar’s passing. He was our friend and brother, a tireless activist for justice and for his beloved Assyrian nation, a true giant amongst Assyrians around the world. As an AAS-A co-founder and organizer of the original Los Angeles Chapter, his spirit and his legacy live on with all of us.

Our most sincere condolences and prayers are with Ninva, Delmin, Tiamat and the Lazar family. Our nation mourns with you.
